Tulip Inn Al Daar Rawafid is a franchised hotel located in Madinah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join the hotel's leadership team and take responsibility for the overall financial management, controls, reporting, and business support functions of the property.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Finance Manager will play a key role in safeguarding the financial health of the hotel, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and providing commercial and financial insight to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Lead the hotel's overall financial management, accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Develop and execute the hotel's financial strategy in alignment with property objectives, ownership requirements, and applicable brand and franchise standards.
Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, forecasts, and other required financial reports.
Provide financial guidance, analysis, and recommendations to the General Manager and hotel leadership team to support informed business decisions.
Monitor the hotel's financial performance against budget and forecast, identify trends and variances, and recommend corrective actions where required.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded, reconciled, documented, and supported.
Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard hotel assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
Manage cash flow, working capital, banking, treasury, and liquidity requirements to support the hotel's operational needs.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit, general ledger, payroll-related financial controls, and other core finance functions.
Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes in collaboration with the General Manager and department heads.
Partner with operational departments to identify cost efficiencies, improve profitability, and strengthen financial accountability across the hotel.
Implement and monitor effective cost-control measures while ensuring that guest experience and operational standards are maintained.
Oversee procurement-related financial controls and support the evaluation of suppliers, contracts, purchasing practices, and commercial terms.
Ensure compliance with applicable financial, tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Ensure adherence to hotel policies, internal controls, applicable franchise requirements, and established financial procedures.
Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings and recommendations.
Identify financial and operational risks and implement appropriate controls and mitigation measures.
Support feasibility studies, financial modelling, investment evaluations, and other business analysis as required.
Manage, coach, and develop the hotel's finance team, building strong financial capability, accountability, and performance.
Work closely with department heads to strengthen financial understanding and ensure effective management of departmental budgets and costs.
Ensure the effective use of hotel financial systems and tools and recommend process or system improvements where appropriate.
Stay informed of developments in financial regulations, accounting practices, hospitality finance, and financial technology relevant to the hotel.
Perform any other finance or business support responsibilities reasonably required by the General Manager or hotel ownership.
Operate in accordance with the hotel's environmental, health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
